Charlie Wilson a former Democrat represented eastern Ohio in Washington, died in a Florida Hospital. He died Sunday. He was 70.
He served 14 years championing people of eastern in Columbus and Washington. With involved in among project like airport improvements, secured federal funding for police department, etc.
Since 1997 to 2005, he served in Ohio House of Representatives then as Ohio Senate for two years. He then joined congress 2006 as write-in candidate but got less support for state's primary.
U.S Rep Bill Johnson defeated Wilson for Ohio in 2012 felt so sad to hear about his death and expressed condolences to his family. Bill said that he and Wilson were friends even they are opponent in political issues.
